Backed by a wealth of professional experience in real estate and entrepreneurship, Mr. Antonsen began his career in law but later shifted his focus toward his true calling of real estate brokerage. He initially earned a Bachelor of Science in history and political science from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1975. Subsequently, he obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the William Mitchell College of Law in 1979. Mr. Antonsen was later admitted to practice law by the Hawaii State Bar Association.
Since 2011, Mr. Antonsen has excelled in his role as the senior vice president and a qualifying broker of Sotheby's International Realty in Santa Fe. Previously, he served as a senior vice president of business development for Christie's Great Estates from 2003 to 2011. Prior to these appointments, Mr. Antonsen began his career as an attorney operating out of his own private practice from 1979 to 1993.
Mr. Antonsen was additionally active as a lecturer and an adjunct professor of business law at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Furthermore, he flourished as the founder of Antonsen Garrett & Associates, Ltd. Currently, Mr. Antonsen participates on the board of directors for Performance Santa Fe and on the advisory board for the Santa Fe Regional Airport. Additionally, he was a member of the Board of Directors with Los Alamos National Bank for over 3 years.
Mr. Antonsen attributes all of his success to goal setting, as he was raised to set and achieve his goals.
