Prior to this appointment, she worked at Chase Manhattan Bank as a vice president and the director of administration for the legal department between 1985 and 1997. From 1984 to 1985, she served at the aforementioned bank as a business system officer for the legal department. Previously, she held the positions of the second vice president and the system manager for the Information Center at Chase Manhattan Bank between 1981 and 1984. Ms. Reilly began her career at Chase Manhattan Bank as the assistant treasurer, the manager of the research library and a researcher from 1977 to 1981.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Reilly pursued an education at the Academy of St. Joseph, from which she graduated. She continued her academic efforts at the College of Mount Saint Vincent, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History and English. Following these accomplishments, Ms. Reilly concluded her studies with a Master of Science in Information Science, magna cum laude, at the Pratt Institute.
Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Reilly has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She has contributed to the Massapequa Public Library as a trustee since 1986, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees since 2019 and the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees since 2009. Moreover, she has held the role of a Board member for Who's Your Hero since 2009. Ms. Reilly found success with her written works as well, having edited the Newsletter of the Business and Finance Division for the Special Libraries Association from 1978 to 1981.
In addition to her primary vocation, Ms. Reilly remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. A member of the American Library Association and Beta Phi Mu The International Library and Information Studies Honor Society. She has maintained her involvement as a member of the Founding Circle and an Executive Board Member for the Association of Legal Technologists since 2017. She was also associated with the Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard as a member of the Executive Committee for the LEDES Oversight Committee from 2003 to 2016, and as the treasurer for the Oversight Committee from 2003 to 2016, the membership chairperson for the Oversight Committee e from 2003 to 2016. Ms. Reilly has served on the Board of Directors for the New York City Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators from 1992 to 1993, she continues to be an active member of the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) and has served the organization in a number of capacities during the 30 plus years she has been a member. Her volunteer service started when she served as the chair of the Databases Special Interest Group from 1988 to 1991, a member of the Conference Committee in the early 1990s and a Conference co-chairperson from 1997 to 2000. She then served as a member of the ILTA's Board of Directors from 1991 to 1995 and again from 2000 to 2005. Ms. Reilly was the national president of ILTA from 1993 to 1995. She has frequently appeared as a featured speaker at numerous seminars and conferences in the fields of law firm administration and legal technology.
In light of her exceptional undertakings, Ms. Reilly has accrued several accolades throughout her impressive career. In 2018, she was featured in an article with AbovetheLaw.com. Likewise, she was selected for inclusion in the first edition of Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America and multiple editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in the East and Who's Who of American Women.
