An expert in his field, Mr. Hostler earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1984. Subsequently, he obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from West Virginia University College of Law in 1989. Upon his graduation, Mr. Hostler was admitted to practice through the North Carolina State Bar, the West Virginia State Bar the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, and the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hostler has been recognized for leadership in West Virginia and with a Certificate of Appreciation through Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Looking toward the future, he aims to continue on the same path.
