BOUNTIFUL, UT, January 23, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Cooper has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Dr. Cooper never intended to find his way into direct sales; however, he was guided by his skill set and expertise into unique situations. He received a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Utah in 1988 while simultaneously earning a Bachelor of Science in finance from the David Eccles School of Business. In 1994, he received a Doctor of Philosophy from the same institution, studying business administration. He served as an adjunct professor at his alma mater until 2005, when he was approached with a unique opportunity. The auditing firm for USANA Health Sciences was unable to locate an individual who could resolve a complex issue in their proposed compensation plan. Dr. Cooper was consulted, upon the recommendation of one of his students, and because he was able to calculate and solve the problem, he was placed on retainer with USANA Health Sciences.
Dr. Cooper continued to contribute in significant ways and soon was hired for full-time employment at USANA Health Sciences. Soon after, he was promoted to the position of Vice President of Information Technology, and then Vice President of Operations. In 2008, he rose to the joint position of President and Chief Executive Officer of the company. Inspired by his success in the health and wellness industry, he founded his own sales company, ARIIX, in 2011, where he continues to work as the Chief Executive Officer.
Motivated by his personal motto of "Continual Improvement," Dr. Cooper strives to increase engagement within his own company. Every year, he is honored with achievements in leadership and transformation. In 2016, he was named Silver CEO of the Year by One Planet Awards; in 2017, he received the Gold CEO of the Year Award from CEO World Awards; in 2018 he was honored with Gold CEO Achievement of the Year from CEO World Awards; and in 2019 he was dubbed Gold CEO Achievers Transformation Leader of the Year by CEO World Awards. Additionally, for the past four years ARIIX has ranked on the Inc. 5000 as one of the fastest-growing private companies in America.
While he enjoys many successful business ventures and the people he has met and mentored along the way, Dr. Cooper hopes to one day return to university education, where he can share his real-world business challenges and triumphs with students eager to learn from practical experience. In 2018, he was presented with the distinction of honorary professor at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China, and invited to be a consultant for the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation. He aspires to teach again at a small college, imparting the knowledge he has gained through his many years in sales and business leadership to new generations of marketing experts.
