She was just recently successful in an appeal to the First Circuit Court of Appeals in a 1983 civil rights case in which her client is the plaintiff.
Before joining Fairfield & Associates, P.A. Ms. Wolfram gained valuable expertise as a personal injury attorney, a civil litigation and medical malpractice attorney, and as a criminal defense attorney while working for the Law Offices of Daniel G. Lilley, P.A. in Portland, Maine. She also began her career representing the indigent in both protective custody matters and as a criminal defense attorney for the alternative public defenders office, John Barker and Associates, in Fresno, California where she served between 2001 and 2002. She continued to provide legal services for the indigent while practicing in Maine and is very proud to be part of her current firm, Fairfield & Associates, P.A. which has a substantial practice providing indigent legal defense in protective custody, juvenile and criminal defense matters.
In a career filled with highlights, she fondly recalls helping to obtain a $1.5 million verdict during her first jury trial. She has had many trials since but explains that over the years it has been the simple thanks or expression of appreciation by her clients that is the true reward and her continued inspiration in the practice of law.
Initially desiring to become a police officer, Ms. Wolfram pursued an education at the University of Southern Maine before earning a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice cum laude at Northeastern University in 1995. Subsequently, she graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from California Western School of Law in San Diego in 2000. Devoted to her community, she provides her services in a pro-bono capacity as well as volunteers with her children's organized activities, her church and her children's school. In light of her professional accomplishments, she was recognized as the Rookie Attorney of the Year in Fresno in 2001.
