Ms. Indingaro has accrued more than 45 years of expertise as an instructional supervisor and mathematical educator, and currently works as a private tutor. She developed an interest in education at an early age, and decided as a teenager that she would aspire to teach high school level mathematics. Before embarking upon her professional journey, Ms. Indingaro attended Radcliffe College, from which she graduated in 1968 with a Bachelor of Arts. She concluded her academic efforts at Syracuse University, attaining a Master of Arts in teaching in 1970.
From 1968 until 1969, Ms. Indingaro served as an administrative assistant at Radcliffe College. She became a middle grade mathematics teacher for Syracuse Public Schools in 1970, departing to teach middle school mathematics for Brookline Public Schools between 1971 and 1977. From 1985 to 1993, Ms. Indingaro taught high school level mathematics for Shelby County Schools in Memphis, after which she transitioned to the position of an instructional supervisor for the aforementioned school system in 1993. She remained with the district until 2006.
Ms. Indingaro distinguished herself as the chairperson of the mathematics department at Memphis Jewish High School between 2006 and 2010, and in a similar capacity at Margolin Hebrew Academy from 2010 to 2011. She has worked as a private mathematics tutor since 2011, and has been invited to speak at numerous conferences and workshops. Ms. Indingaro is the former president of the Memphis Area Council and a past president of the Tennessee Council of Supervisors and Leaders in Mathematics Education.
