A talented interior designer whose career began as an engineer for Eastern Cabinet Company in Glendale, New York, in 1981, Mr. Hadavi has since built a name for himself over the proceeding decades. Today, he represents the Hatch Design Group, a commercial hospitality design firm which specializes in the front end and food service design of venues ranging from boutique and chain restaurants to hotels, casinos and golf clubhouses since 1969. Acquired by Hatch Design in 2019, Mr. Hadavi previously worked for HBA International over a nine year period. Additionally, Mr. Hadavi excelled for several other firms, including Langdon Wilson Architects and Barry Design Associates and was the owner and founder of Tustin Design Group between 1991 and 1993.

He has also leveraged his expertise to resort hotels like The Ritz-Carlton Bacara in Santa Barbara, California, the JW Marriott Desert Springs in Palm Desert, California, and The Resort at Queensridge in Las Vegas. Aligned as a certified member of the California Council for Interior Design, he was also a member of the American Society of Interior Designers and an associate member of the Institute of Store Planners. The recipient of an Unsung Hero Award from Walker Group/CNI, Mr. Hadavi was later honored with a Second Place Award for a project he completed in a residential area of China.
Born in Ahvaz, Khuzistan, Iran, Mr. Hadavi recounts how he gained the inspiration to pursue a career in design from his father, who was a developer and landlord. Visiting his father on job sites, he would often provide help by supervising his employees. Upon moving to the U.S. in 1977, he received a Bachelor of Science in architectural engineering at Roger Williams College in 1981. He later received additional schooling at MTI College during 1991. Mr. Hadavi holds a CAD operator certificate in AutoCad.
