Prior to obtaining his current roles, Dr. Osborne was the founder and the director of State of the Heart Cardiology from 2007 to 2014. Moreover, he held a number of positions with CSANT Grapevine, including the director of point of care testing and the clinical laboratory from 2005 to 2007, the director of noninvasive cardiovascular angiography from 2002 to 2007, the director of preventative cardiology from 2000 to 2007, the director of echocardiography from 1998 to 2007, and both a radiation safety officer and director of nuclear cardiology from 1998 [0 2007, Dr. Osborne begun his career as the medical director of cardiovascular disease management and president of cardiopulmonary research, science, and technology at COR Specialty Associates of North Texas.
Dr. Osborne first pursued an education with Pennsylvania State University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in 1983. He then graduated from Thomas Jefferson University, completing a Doctor of Medicine, magna cum laude, in 1990. He continued his studies with the aforementioned school, earning a Doctor of Philosophy in physiology in the same year. Dr. Osborne later returned to his education with the London School of Economics, where he is currently working toward a Master of Science in cardiovascular management, outcomes, and economics, with an expected graduation date of 2021.
Throughout his career, Dr. Osborne has been celebrated for his exemplary contributions to his field. A two-time Texas Super Doctor of Texas Monthly, he was recognized as a Top Doctor by US News and World Report and a Top Cardiologist by D Magazine.
