Following this accomplishment, he completed a Master of Science in Engineering in applied physics from Princeton University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from Heidelberg University. Dr. Meinrenken retains his professional alignment with the American Physical Society and the International Society of Industrial Ecologists in order to remain aware of changes in an ever-evolving field.
