CHICAGO, IL, February 21, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Anthany V. E. Frazier with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Frazier celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Now retired from a long and distinguished career in public service, Mr. Frazier found much success with the Trillion dollar Social Security Administration (SSA) as a member of the public broadcast team from 1993 until 2017. Having served as an Area VII systems coordinator charged with managing complex hardware system clients and conducting the full complement of employee information technology (IT) activities within the SSA's diverse field offices in the Chicago Metropolitan Area, his heavily-popular SSA public service announcements (PSAs) and family-friendly, online interactive training videos are featured on CAN-TV and YouTube social media broadcast networks. Notably, Mr. Frazier helped produce and co-starred in one of the SSA's first aired multicultural and trilingual PSA's. A prolific branding visionary, the featured languages are English, Spanish, and Polish. Likewise, in 2006, he co-authored the SSA's "Chicago Region V Communications Strategic Plan," and "Deputy Commissioner of Operation (DCO) Operating Plan;" and, assisted as a regional public policy expert regarding the Medicare Modernization Act, which created a host of Medicare prescription drug coverage programs initiated throughout Chicago Region V, among countless other exemplary leadership services he contributed on behalf of the SSA's efforts. Furthermore, Mr. Frazier worked as a regional public affairs spokesman during the installation of the mega-million dollar solarized energy rooftop at Chicago's Harold Washington Social Security Center; organized SSA mental health wellness forums and musical concerts; and, even designed original unisex clothing attire, featuring commemorative emblems and patches for employees.

Mr. Frazier previously flourished in tenured positions with the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. and Chicago, Illinois; and, he worked for legendary elected public officials whose leadership acumen were geared to inspire people more than to manage them. For example, in the Senate, Anthany's employer was The Honorable Alan John Dixon (D-IL), a perennial top Illinois electoral vote-getter; recipient of the "Order of Lincoln," the highest Illinois governmental honor; and, the former Chairman of the United States Defense Base Realignment and Closure Commission. Similarly, in the House, Anthany's employer was The Honorable Congressman Charles Arthur Hayes (D-IL), the first trade unionist to be elected to Congress and the former Vice-President of the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union (UFCW). Importantly, Mr. Hayes represented the tremendous First Congressional District of Illinois, which encompassed a historic 92.1% African-American majority constituency, and it was the first Congressional district within the annals of 20th century America to send an African-American legislator to Congress.

Utilizing the multifaceted political skillsets and formidable sage wisdom that he successfully acquired from these two (2) pioneering newsmakers, Mr. Frazier played an instrumental role in the creation of Chicago's first public housing resident management corporations, as well as the Cranston-Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act of 1990. Previously, he had the honor to volunteer in several capacities on behalf of the various task forces commissioned by Congressman Hayes and The Honorable Harold Lee Washington, Chicago's first African-American Mayor and the former U.S. Representative of the First Congressional District of Illinois. Owing to extensive congressional experiences in developing taskforces and managing intergenerational citizen advisory committees, which sought to address the problems of an aging populace, in 2005, Anthany was appointed by the White House to help administer the White House Conference on Aging (WHCoA) in Washington, D.C., where he supervised two workshops to "Establish Principals to Strengthen Social Security" and "Educate Americans on End of Life Issues." Mr. Frazier is recognized within the final WHCoA report submitted to the President of the United States, Congress, and the American People. Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Frazier has advised seven U.S. presidents, numerous senators, congresspersons, governors and mayors, as well as governmental and local organizations such as the U.S. Postal Service, the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) and the Chicago Public Schools (CPS).

Since amicably transitioning from federal governmental service, Mr. Frazier has earned particular distinction as the founder and president of AVEF Volunteer Management Consultants and Trainers, a multicultural consortium that sponsors free musical concerts and mental health wellness workshops. He also founded the STOPGAP Ministry, a spiritual philosophy that is designed to help build capacity within individuals and to optimize the production and collaborative potential of communities. Incentivized by AVEF Volunteer Management Consultants and Trainers, the Ministry's novel civic and community engagement outreach network and grassroots activist movement has made an indelible mark throughout the social fabric of society, with its concept rapidly gaining traction abroad. Both AVEF and STOPGAP were established in 1992.

Commensurate with his efforts at the STOPGAP Ministry, Mr. Frazier is an adjunct community professor, a motivational speaker and a guest lecturer at a variety of universities and public schools both in the U.S. and globally. For example, he has contributed his services at the University of Oxford in England, Roosevelt University, Oakton Community College, and the CPS. Volunteering in this heartfelt capacity since 1982, Mr. Frazier has been additionally active as a diplomat and was a participant at the second annual University of Oxford International Health and Homelessness Conference in 2006.

Aligned with numerous civic organizations, Mr. Frazier received gubernatorial appointments to serve on the Illinois Department on Aging's council since 2000, and is presently the vice chairman of this august group. Other associations to his credit include extensive interaction with the Senior Illinoisans Hall of Fame, the Chicago Board of Education and several other organizations and committees, for whom he very often serves as a congressional liaison. In 1998, Mr. Frazier's community outreach efforts provided excellent SSA related services to wounded warriors and homeless military veterans, which was later featured in The Times newspaper and distributed to the Veterans Administration (VA) hospital employees and patients of the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital in Hines, Illinois.

Several years later, Mr. Frazier maintained his involvement as a SSA emergency crisis responder and a team leader for an intergovernmental taskforce that was convened to provide critical human services to the victims and families of the infamous Chicago E2 Nightclub tragedy, which occurred on February 17, 2003. Constantly finding opportunities to be a positive force for good in the community, he volunteered as a management consultant for the multi-billion dollar, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), where he helped level the playing field in awarding small disadvantaged businesses a historic number of NASA's very lucrative high-tech contracts. Co-authoring numerous reports for such organizations as the Chicago Urban League, the Latino Institute and Northern Illinois University, he has thrived as a keynote speaker and presenter before various organizations, such as the Annual Meeting for Project Equality, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, the Metropolitan Planning Council of Chicago, Women United for a Better Chicago, the Illinois Department of Corrections, and NASA, for which he holds the designation of chairman emeritus of several committees, particularly on aging and the disabled populations. Moreover, Mr. Frazier has dedicated more than 62 years to the entertainment industry as a humanitarian, benefactor, talent coordinator and promoter, musical performer, and theatrical stage actor. As a youngster, Mr. Frazier studied with the great musical impresario Fess Williams at Chicago's fabled Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church (EMBC), the birthplace of Gospel music. Mr. Williams was also the conductor of the "house show band" at the original World-famous Regal Theater in the Bronzeville neighborhood. Additionally, Mr. Frazier was a youth team-leader of an award-winning Chicago drill team that won two (2) consecutive yearly drill contests during the annual Bud Billiken Day Parade, the largest African-American parade in America and the second largest parade in our nation. Moreover, Anthany was a youthful performer in several versatile musical bands that have produced some of the world's greatest esthetic art talents and showbiz luminaries in music and popular culture.

Among his many laudable achievements, in 2006, Mr. Frazier was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation and Recognition by The Recording Academy (The Grammy Awards) for being a tireless sponsor of its education, advocacy, and human service initiatives. He also assembled a statewide community workshop on "Alcohol and Substance Abuse in Older Adults" in 2004, which received great public acclaim and was prominently marketed on the website of the University of Chicago's Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation. During the earlier stages of his career, he was heralded as a savvy political science expert, musicology panelist, and the quintessential professional staffer in various civic affairs surrounding Chicago and national politics. Most remarkably, he had the great fortune to befriend the future United States President Barack Obama in 1986, while serving as a representative of U.S. Senator Alan John Dixon (D–IL) at a conference intended to address the prevailing issue of "brownfields," patches of toxic contaminated land in socially-disadvantaged and economically-marginalized communities.

A great public-policy success, the innovative partnership eventually resulted in the allocation of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) funds in order to deal with the beleaguering problem, and the program has generated more than 117,525 "green" jobs that were added to the national economy.

An alumnus of Chicago State University, Mr. Frazier initially earned a Bachelor of Arts in behavioral sciences in 1977. He later continued his studies at Governors State University, where he obtained a Master of Arts in behavioral sciences in 1992. Mr. Frazier has completed and or directed over 200 professional development programs throughout the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of the U.S. Government since 1982. He also holds multiple certificates of completion from premier academic institutions, including addiction studies from Harold Washington College in conjunction with the University of Illinois, Chicago Hospital and Health Sciences System, Department of Psychiatry, and international marketing from the Kellstadt Center for Commerce at DePaul University.

Among his professional memberships, Mr. Frazier is a recognized emeritus member of the Chicago Community Development Advisory Committee (CDAC); American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP); the Social Security Administration (SSA); as well as an esteemed former staffer of the United States Senate and House of Representatives. He is affiliated with the Chicago Access Network Television (CAN-TV), the Latin Recording Academy, MusiCares, and, The Recording Academy (The Grammy Awards). Well-known for his voluminous contributions as a committed public servant, Mr. Frazier is a deserving recipient of the coveted 30-Year Certificate of Appreciation for Distinguished Public Service and Loyalty to the United States Government, presented by the SSA in 2017, which is just one of more than hundreds of awards, certificates, letters of appreciation, and accolades bestowed unto him throughout his long and auspicious career.

In accounting for his considerable professional achievements, Mr. Anthany V. E. Frazier credits his success to the devotion he has for embracing his spiritual convictions, family, honor, duty, country, and responsibility as a community thought leader. A consummate public servant, he is deferentially influenced by his own family ancestral traditions and legacies in developing his global transformative approach towards positively helping change humanity. Throughout Mr. Frazier's illustrious career, he has drawn great comfort and inspiration from the power of music as a healthy respite towards replenishing one's soul and building a sense of capacity, community, and purpose within individuals. Married to his wife, Ruth, since 1970, Anthany credits the extraordinary human rights deeds of her parents as the impetus of his unbridled passion for improving the quality of life for others. For instance, Ruth's parents, the Fairfaxes, are the original plaintiffs of the landmarked "Gautreaux Decision," America's first public housing desegregation lawsuit that was successfully litigated before the United States Supreme Court, Washington, D.C. Today, "Gautreaux" is still our nation's largest Federal housing mobility program; one of the only social programs based within a randomized experimental framework; and, is the only anti-poverty federal housing program that was unanimously endorsed by the administrations of United States President Reagan, Bush, and Clinton.
