Dr. Davion Hill is the proud recipient of a 2014 National Academy of Engineers (NAE) US Frontiers in Engineering's Young Engineers Award.
COLUMBUS, OH, February 26, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Davion Hill, PhD, has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Dr. Hill is renowned as an energy storage expert with more than a decade of specialization in battery testing to his credit. He initially pursued an education at Ohio University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in physics in 2000. Dr. Hill subsequently earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Materials Physics from the Ohio State University in 2006.
From 1998 to 1999, Dr. Hill completed an internship with Aeroflex Lintek Corporation. After his research fellowship at The Ohio State University from 2000 to 2006, he accepted a position with the Honda Research Institute as a research scientist. Dr. Hill began his tenure with DNV in 2006 as a project engineer before flourishing as a senior materials engineer from 2007 to 2013.
Following these appointments, Dr. Hill found success at DNV GL as the principal engineer from 2013 to 2015 and the energy and materials group leader from 2014 to 2015. Since 2015, he has excelled with the aforementioned company as an energy storage leader for the North American market. Dr. Hill also served as the interim global energy storage segment leader for DNV GL.
He served on the Executive Board for NAATBatt International from 2012 to 2018. He was President in 2015 and Chairman in 2016. He is the author of "DNV GL Battery Performance Scorecard," and is the proud recipient of a 2014 National Academy of Engineers (NAE) US Frontiers in Engineering's Young Engineers Award. Looking toward the future, Dr. Hill hopes to expand DNV GL's market share in technical due diligence, and to continue his success as a renewable energy consultant.
