WESTMINSTER, CO, February 27, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Terri Marranzino-Ray has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
The senior manager of support services at Tri-State Generation and Transmission since 2013, Ms. Marranzino-Ray is distinguished for her expertise in the electric power industry. She manages nearly 1,000 fleet vehicles and oversees the company's 28 transmission facilities in Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming and New Mexico. Ms. Marranzino-Ray also notably oversees roughly $24 million of inventory, investment recovery operations and office services.
Based out of Westminster, Colorado, Tri-State Generation and Transmission holds a diverse portfolio which leverages natural resources to generate reliable, affordable and responsible electricity for its members, consisting of 46 members. With Ms. Marranzino-Ray's leadership, Tri-State Generation and Transmission was named to the Top 500 Private Fleets by Fleet Owner Magazine in 2014. She, in particular, was notably honored with a feature article in Transportation and Logistics Magazine.
Ms. Marranzino-Ray believes much of her success comes from her humble nature and dedication to her origins. More than willing to perform any task she would otherwise ask others to do, her advice to others in her area of expertise is to not let anyone tell you that you are not good enough or can't accomplish personal goals. Ms. Marranzino-Ray lives by her advice, which is "glad to be here," and carries a strong message in her daily life and to her staff. She is always thankful for the opportunities at hand and those yet to come.
Ms. Marranzino-Ray came to Tri-State Generation and Transmission from a highly placed position at a propane gas company, but she became an administrative assistant with the hopes of establishing herself in the fleet area of the industry. She maintained activity with the company for one year before she was promoted into the fleet division, as she had clearly proven her strength within that area. With dedication and a touch of tenacity, Ms. Marranzino-Ray was promoted in 2013 to the senior manager she is today. Looking towards the future, Ms. Marranzino-Ray would like to rise to a position of senior vice president within Tri-State Generation and Transmission to further her opportunities and give back to the great company that has given her such great opportunities over the last 23 years. Ms. Marranzino-Ray prides herself daily on the service that her team provides to the organization and the Membership. At the end of the day it is very rewarding to know she leads a team who helps "keep the lights on" for many customers in the rural areas of Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming and New Mexico.
