Currently, he is the President of Avid Wealth Management Group, LLC, a registered investment advisory firm. He serves as an investment advisor to wealthy individuals, estates, trusts and corporate retirement plans. In addition, he is the managing member of Hearthstone Development, LLC a developer of residential subdivisions in Greenville, SC.
Mr. Taylor is a series 7 registered investment advisor, and a Certified Public Accountant. He earned an Associate in Science Degree from Andrew College and received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia.
Mr. Taylor currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Andrew College, a Trustee for the State of Georgia Public Schools Employee Retirement System and a member of the Board of Advisors of the University of Georgia Athletic Association. He served as a director and treasurer of The French American Chamber of Commerce-Atlanta from 1998-2018, is a former director of the University of Georgia Alumni Association, former president of Pinetree Country Club, and former director of North Cobb Christian School.
In 2019, Mr. Taylor was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University. At KSU, he served on the School of Accounting Advisory Board from 1992 – 2018 and was Chairman of the board from 2015 - 2018 and served on the strategic planning committee.
With a mission to Bring Joy to Everyone, Mr. Taylor has the largest residential Christmas light display in the State of Georgia. The display features more than 600,000 lights, a forest of over 200 lighted trees that takes more than 1,500 hours each year to prepare. The display was featured in 2019 on ABC's "The Great Christmas Light Fight" and has previously been featured on Channel 2 Action News. Thousands of people visit the display each year.
