Tony Jaswal says this is the beginning of a coming solar revolution. "Solar technology will only get better and cell efficiencies will keep rising."
PALATINE, IL, March 12, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The managing partner and VP of the largest commercial solar installation company in the Midwest, Tony Jaswal has been leading General Energy Corp (GEC) to extraordinary growth. He began his education at the University of Illinois, where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Jaswal went on to join GEC in 2012 and led GEC to become a full-service solar EPC. GEC, established in 1985, has been serving commercial and industrial customers providing energy efficiency services for the past three decades. Under Mr. Jaswal's leadership, GEC has grown over 200% each year.
According to Mr. Jaswal, GEC's success has been driven by continued focus on customer satisfaction and successful implementation of projects. "Solar Energy has been around for decades, but due to recent legislation passed by states for carbon reduction goals, and the cost of panels coming down by over 70% the past decade, it has now gotten to a point where the ROI is very attractive as a good business decision", says Mr. Jaswal. According to Mr. Jaswal, the concept of solar is very new to most businesses. "As a leading solar installer, it is our priority to educate customers and make sure they are getting a good quality solar product. The lifespan of a solar panel is over 25 years, so this is a long-term commitment for our customers. Our sales and project management team are doing an excellent job in making sure the customer is educated and fully satisfied in the final delivered project", says Mr. Jaswal.
Mr. Jaswal says this is the beginning of a coming solar revolution. "Solar technology will only get better and cell efficiencies will keep rising. We work very closely with our panel and inverter manufacturers to make sure they keep improving their technologies so we can keep offering our customers the best product." According to Mr. Jaswal, solar energy provides commercial and industrial customers with the energy independence they need. "Our commercial and industrial customers spend hundreds to millions of dollars on electricity per year. The constant fluctuations and future uncertainty in energy rates makes it tough for our customers. But with solar, our customers are in full charge of their own energy production with no uncertainty. This is a huge deal."
Inspired by his mother, who held two jobs in order to support him and his two siblings, Mr. Jaswal cites her as the reason he decided to become an entrepreneur.
