Qualcomm is a semiconductor and telecommunications equipment company that designs and markets wireless telecommunications products and services. Mr. Salem previously maintained activity as a senior staff manager on behalf of the company from 2016 to 2017 and senior staff between 2014 and 2016.
At the start of Mr. Salem's career in the early 2000s, he worked as a system engineer for Texas Instruments from 2003 until 2008 and for TrelisWare Technologies between 2008 and 2009. Striving to make use of his entrepreneurial skills, he established Omni Wireless Communications in 2009 and subsequently excelled as a co-founder and system engineer to IPG Communications in 2010. During the following year, Mr. Salem worked as a system architect at a private practice and consulted from 2012 to 2014.
Mr. Salem is currently a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. In 2018 he served as a coach to the First Lego Junior League, and from 2009 to 2010 he distinguished himself as a board member for the Fairway Villas Home Owners Association. Mr. Salem attributes his career success to his strong leadership and technical skills.
Having long held a fascination with technology and assembling different devices, Mr. Salem eventually chose to make use of his passion and skills in order to study engineering. The idea of working on simulation models for new inventions seemed intuitive to him. Hailing from Iraq, he credits the United States and advanced technology for giving him a solid life path. Looking towards the future, Mr. Salem aspires to continue his steady progression to establish another fledgling company.
