Walmart recognized Pahoua Xiong's achievements with the Walmart Rising Star Management Recruitment Achievement Award.
CLOVIS, CA, March 16, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pahoua Xiong has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
With many years of practiced experience in management behind her, Ms. Xiong excels as a co-manager and the assistant manager for Walmart Stores, Incorporated in Fresno, CA, where she maintains the store's daily operations and supervises in excess of 300 employees. However, none of the greatness that she has achieved would have been possible without the inspiration of her parents. From the war-torn country of Laos, her father escaped persecution into Thailand, where he met her mother. In 1978, the United States sponsored her family to come to America when she was only at the age of two. Due to their hard work, Ms. Xiong was encouraged to do the same and became naturalized as a U.S. citizen in 1996 before becoming the first in her family to graduate from college.
At the beginning of her career, Ms. Xiong worked as a store manager for Walmart from 2007 to 2009. Subsequently, she served for Insphere Insurance Solutions as a health and life insurance agent between 2009 and 2010, but returned to Walmart because she loved working for the company. Although her career has been filled with highlights, she is especially proud of her ability to adapt to changes and incorporate new ideas and technologies into the current market while running a business. In 1989, Ms. Xiong was also honored to participate in the Summer Mirage Arts Project.
An expert in her field, Ms. Xiong earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from California State University of Fresno in 2000. Subsequently, she also became certified in food and health sanitation in 2006, which she holds to this day. Devoted to her community, she contributes to those in need through the Family Alliance Church, the youth ministry of the Hmong Alliance Church's Christian and Missionary Alliance, her local food bank and as a troop leader for the Girl Scout Troop 5041. In addition, Ms. Xiong supports her local grade, middle and high school as a cheerleader supporter.
In light of her outstanding accomplishments, Ms. Xiong was honored with the California fellowship and Federal Grant scholarship in 1995 and 1996. More recently, Walmart recognized her achievements with the Walmart Rising Star Management Recruitment Achievement Award. Looking toward the future, Ms. Xiong aims to continue her success with the corporation as a market manager, liaising with nearly 15 stores in the area.
