A celebrated figure in the field of healthcare for more than 40 years, Dr. Kaminski retired in 2006 as the division director at the Christiana Care Health System, Delaware, after five years in his role. His exemplary career also included service as the director of the residency program at the Center between 1995 and 2001 and as an assistant and associate professor at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine between 1987 and 1995. Active in his community, Dr. Kaminski most notably contributed as a volunteer scribe for the National Civil War Museum, Harrisburg, PA.
An attendee of Loyola College, Dr. Kaminski acquired a Bachelor of Science in 1959. He subsequently pursued a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Maryland, graduating in 1963. After completing a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore between 1963 and 1967, he entered the U.S. Army as a captain in 1967, advancing to colonel by 1978 before ultimately retiring in 1987. Years later, Dr. Kaminski acquired a Master of Education in education at Pennsylvania State University in 1995. He is notably board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
As a recognized professional in his field, Dr. Kaminski has been aligned as a member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics and the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. He was also an associate member of the International Society of Gynecological Pathologists. A celebrated Marquis listee, Dr. Kaminski has been featured in the 25th edition of Who's Who in the East.
