VOORHEES, NJ, March 30, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Jonathan David Geisler with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Geisler celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
After a long and distinguished career in multiple industries, Mr. Geisler retired in 2019 as the vice president of investments at McLaughlin Asset Management in Haddonfield, New Jersey, after 12 years in this position and 16 years as a financial advisor. He previously enjoyed an equally successful career involved in the implementation of computer and telecommunications system deployments that spanned 32 years. First acquired as an engineer for RCA Inc., he later worked as a systems analyst for Univac Inc. and as a computer consultant for Comcon, Inc. After the acquisition of DGM&S, Mr. Geisler continued to serve for another five years with Comverse Network Systems as vice president of operations, until 2003.
A focused and dedicated leader in his field, Mr. Geisler enjoyed being mentored by several teachers and professionals in the industry. He is especially grateful to the president of DGM&S, Rex McWilliams, who aided him throughout the fast growth period that the company went through and was influential in several of his opportunities and promotions. Mr. Geisler also enjoyed working with the U.S. Department of Defense, where he was responsible for delivering several large-scale computer systems, which was an honor and stands as a highlight to his career.
Born in Los Angeles, Mr. Geisler spent his entire career in New Jersey. Giving back to his community, he was active with several organizations. Most notably, he was president and a member of the board of trustees of the Ritz Theatre Company, a non-profit performing arts company in Haddon Township, New Jersey, between 2003 and 2008.
Mr. Geisler attended the University of Delaware, where he played college football and earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science in 1971. He later attended Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, completing a Masters of Business Administration in 1979.
As he was involved in multiple career paths, Mr. Geisler was actively engaged with several diverse professional organizations, including the Intelligence and National Security Alliance, and the New Jersey Business & Industry Association. In addition to these professional organizations, Mr. Geisler was also a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and several avocational clubs.
