Inspired by her grandparents, who were performers and directors in their own right, Ms. Titland aspired to enter the entertainment industry while coming of age. She performed in community and senior productions with her grandparents and received a wealth of support from family and friends when she decided to pursue her career in earnest. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting from Pace University, and a Master of Fine Arts in film with a focus in screenwriting from Regent University. Ms. Titland likewise studied Norwegian language and literature at the International Summer School at Oslo University.
Presently, Ms. Titland works on various projects as a writer, actress, model and filmmaker. She also holds several other positions, including as a program coordinator and acting instructor at Kid's College, the chairwoman of the associate board of directors of the Origin Theater Company, professor at Rockland Community College, Founder, director, producer and creative director of midnight films. With a knack for leading a team, executing ideas, directing and producing, Ms. Titland has experienced much success throughout her varied career.
As an actor, Ms. Titland has featured in many Netflix and television shows, as well as theater productions and award-winning independent films. As a model, she has participated in Milan Fashion Week and been featured in several publications and campaigns. As a filmmaker, she has written, produced and acted in films produced by her own company, Midnight Films. Additionally, she established the Midnight Film Festival, which is in its third year of operation. For her work throughout the years, Ms. Titland has won such accolades as best film, best female director, best actress and best original song.
Civically, Ms. Titland volunteers with the Wounded Warrior Project and performs for and donates to Concern Worldwide. She maintains her professional affiliation with the Actor's Equity Association, Lambda Sigma, the National Honor Society for College Sophomores, the Origin Theatre Company, SAG-AFTRA, Sigma Delta Tau, Delta Theta Chapter and The Actor's Project, NYC. Looking toward the future, Ms. Titland would like to develop an animated children's series that focuses on folklore and methodologies from around the world. She would also like to continue performing and become a full-time actor and narrator.
