Ms. Greenberg is an innovator in the fashion and textile industries. A free spirit, she pursued a career in art and design despite her mother's urging to become a teacher. She completed a Bachelor of Arts at Hunter College, and pursued postgraduate coursework at New York University. Ms. Greenberg also attended Parsons School for Design, the Pratt Institute, and the New School for specialized postgraduate coursework focusing on fabrics, beading, and draping.

She was a member of the Cohn-Hall-Marx and Cohama divisions for the United Merchants and Manufacturers Company from 1959 until 1972. She joined Reliable Textile Company of New York, rising to the role of the vice president during her tenure. An independent practice jewelry and design consultant based in New York, in 1988, Ms. Greenberg became the fashion director of Burlington Klopman Fabrics of New York, where she remained until 1992.

Among other accolades, Ms. Greenberg was awarded a medal in fine arts at Columbus High School and was named Forecaster of Color by the Color Association of the United States. She has been a guest lecturer at Hunter College. In her leisure time, Ms. Greenberg enjoys travel to see artwork, and is a patron of the opera, MOMA, The Frick and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She also attends classes at Juilliard and has been drawing the figure for over 30 years.
