Mr. Cook completed a Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of South Carolina in 2003, and graduated from real estate school the same week.

By 2007, he had distinguished himself as the top-selling agent in the AgentOwned Realty network, and in 2011, he became the number one selling residential resale agent in South Carolina, a distinction he continues to hold. In 2015, Mr. Cook departed AgentOwned and established Jeff Cook Real Estate as an independent brokerage. In addition to selling and listing homes, Mr. Cook is responsible for business development and management of day-to-day operations, including pursuing partnerships, overseeing fiscal goals and strategies, and assessing market trends. In 2015, Mr. Cook also established Titan Home Buyers, now operating as Jeff Cook Offers, a sister company specializing in distressed properties and complex sales. Likewise, in 2016, he started Rent Holy City, a full-service property management provider. Mr. Cook is a certified negotiation expert, a certified home selling advisor, and an accredited buyer representative. Jeff Cook Real Estate has expanded to eight offices throughout South Carolina, and has been named one of the Top 25 Fastest-Growing Companies in South Carolina in 2018, as well as South Carolina's Top Place to Work for 2019 and 2020.
Mr. Cook has written two books for homebuyers and real estate investors, and is the winner of a Quill Bestsellers Award for "The Ultimate Homebuyers Guide," released in 2012. Prolifically active in charitable initiatives, Mr. Cook sponsors company-wide volunteer opportunities, and created Jeff Cook Cares, a 1% for good initiative funneling 1% of all company sales back into the community. Moreover, he is a member of the Board of Visitors Leadership Council of Charleston Southern University.
