Driven to pursue a career in the Radiation Medicine industry, Mr. Small initially earned His Bachelor of Science in Radiation Therapy Technology from Howard University in 1988. Subsequently, he obtained a Master in Information Technology from American InterContinental University in 2000. Mr. Small pursued a very successful clinical career in Radiation Therapy and reached many milestones. He was one of the youngest Chief Radiation Therapist at the Sandy Grove Georgetown University Hospital Clinic. He also worked as a traveling Therapist nationwide and a Medical Dosimetrist. Mr. Small then transitioned into the corporate aspect of the Radiation field as an Account Executive and Sale Manager with numerous companies where he won many awards in sales. He believes in giving back and decided to leave the industry and open his own Call Center to help with distribution of diabetic supplies. Although it was ultimately unsuccessful, Mr. Small continued and revamped the call center.
After discovering the benefits of clean energy and solar power, Mr. Small shifted the focus of his career and HMK Call Center began to focus primarily on Solar and Clean energy. Since establishing the company in 2016, he has managed the daily business operations as the center's chief executive officer. A devoted community advocate, Mr. Small contributes to the less fortunate during his spare time as a mentor for Washington DC schools and neighborhood community helping at risk youths.
Due to his outstanding work, Mr. Small received the board of trustees scholarship from the National Honor Society while at Howard University. Looking forward to the future, Mr. Small intends to change the landscape of solar energy in the Caribbean and leave a legacy for up and coming professionals within the field.
