She has also excelled as the owner of Heritage Institute Inc., for which she is also active as a philanthropist and consultant. Prior to her tenure with Heritage Institute Inc. Dr. Henderson worked as a therapeutic counselor and a case manager for Heritage Child Inc. from 2005 to 2017 as well as an administrator for Baber Child Facility between 2003 and 2005.
Previously, Dr. Henderson gained valuable expertise in management and educational positions with Aloe International Royal Family, Gary Community School Corporation and L&T Sargent & Lundy between the late 1970s and late 1990s. Although her career has been filled with highlights, she is especially proud of the execution of opening a new facility, JICBS Educational Services, (JICBSOON.ORG) where she will hold conferences and educate people in the area of Christian education which has been on going! Another notable achievement to Dr. Henderson's credit has been working with children with special needs and developing a program to help them achieve their college dreams. Her ultimate passion is to enhance the lives of children through education by developing schools, and she is presently working on two new schools.
An expert in her field, Dr. Henderson initially obtained a Bachelor of Science in organizational management from Calumet College of Saint Joseph. Subsequently, she earned a Master of Education from Cambridge College and a Doctor of Theology from G.M.O.R. Theological Seminary. Devoted to her community, Dr. Henderson contributes to those in need as an advocate for seniors and children through Heritage Institute Inc. and as a volunteer within her community serving on diverse boards. She has rich treasure with Advancing Christ Kingdom Global Ministries, Interfaith Prayer Power Pool, Interfaith Clergy Council, Signatures of Prolific Women and the Crossing School of Business & Entrepreneurship.
For her outstanding professional efforts, Dr. Henderson has been as ordained as an elder through the Ministerial Council. She additionally accepted the Leader of Northwest Indiana Award.
