Accumulating decades of professional excellence in education, Ms. Cowie is currently designated as a senior lecturer emeritus and department chairman emeritus of special education at the University of Wyoming. Beginning her career in the public school system in 1968, she taught in several school districts across South Dakota before relocating to Wyoming, where she flourished for nearly 15 years.
