A global brand executive, she began her career with Levi Strauss & Co., with which she worked between 1981 and 1999. During this time, she advanced through the ranks from sales to obtain general management and vice-presidential positions for the Asia Pacific region. Moreover, Ms. Royak led teams to consolidate multiple supply chains creating millions in savings. She also centralized marketing and participated on the strategic global digital committee as the Vice President of Marketing and Technical Development in Singapore.
Ms. Royak joined Liz Claiborne to lead a diverse portfolio of brands. She served as the President of the International businesses for more than 5 years. In this position, she merged businesses in the UK and Europe to build a new global retail platform. The team increased sales by more than $450 million. Soon thereafter, Ms. Royak gained valuable expertise as the President of Calvin Klein Jeans for Warnaco U.S.A. She led the brand to the number one position in department stores. Profits increased by 15% while launching the first plus size line for CK Jeans Women's.
Ms. Royak was appointed as the Senior Vice President and the International Managing Director for Maidenform. In this capacity, she increased sales by double digits for a number of the company's brands, including Donna Karan. Backed by her proven track record of revenue growth, she consulted for The Marena Group as it was acquired by Riverside Co. private equity in 2016. After premarket due diligence, Ms. Royak was hired as Chief Operating Officer; leading the transformation of the company as the founder retired. She built the direct to consumer business with patented medical grade compression that originated from an Olympic cyclist. The company's innovation of breast cancer bras to underwear for NASA were made in the USA in an ISO factory. Today, Ms. Royak excels volunteering as a champion of those in need as Chair of TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation. As Chairman of the Board she has flourished hiring new executive leadership and board members. Leveraging hospital and community networks, she raised awareness and guided virtual fundraising efforts during the pandemic. As CEO of Royak Consulting, she recently built an omni-channel growth strategy for a luxury intimates company. Recently, she conceived the launch strategy for a start-up in the health and wellness market.
In pursuit of her dream career, Ms. Royak earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Salisbury University in 1981, where she is on the advisory board of Perdue School of Business. She enjoys judging for the Shore Hatchery competition at the Perdue School, a Shark Tank feeder group that has provided over one million in funds to entrepreneurs. Since moving to Atlanta, she was a member of Next Generation Manufacturing in the US and retains her professional alignment with the Fashion Group International. A guest speaker at the Conference of World affairs, at University of Colorado, Boulder, which brings together business and academia to debate the issues of our day; like the pandemic. In the coming years, she aims to expand her connections in the Mid-Atlantic and Atlanta areas.
