Over the years, she has gained valuable expertise in law as an Assistant Solicitor for the City of Philadelphia between 2017 and 2019 and as counsel for the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue. Utilizing her vast experiences, Ms. Richardson has also served as an adjunct professor for the Pennsylvania State University.
Previously, Ms. Richardson worked as an associate for Steptoe & Johnson PLLC from 2012 to 2014 and a Graduate Assistant for Minority Recruitment for West Virginia University between 2010 and 2012. Although her career has been filled with highlights, she is especially proud of representing multiple municipalities in Montgomery and Delaware counties on issues related to land use and planning, zoning, code enforcement and tax enforcement. In order to remain aware of recent industry changes, Ms. Richardson is affiliated with the Montgomery County Bar Association and the Barristers Association of Philadelphia.
An expert in her field, Ms. Richardson earned a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh in 2003. Subsequently, she obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2012 and a Master of Laws in Taxation from Temple University's Beasley School of Law in 2017. Dedicated to her community, she works with Brown Girls Do Invest, a non-profit focused on providing financial literacy empowerment to women, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the oldest Greek-letter organization established by African-American college-educated women. With a plethora of knowledge at her disposal, Ms. Richardson authored the article "#BoycottPayPal: The Hashtag that Cried Wolf" in 2016.
In light of her professional accomplishments, Ms. Richardson was honored in the Order of the Barristers in 2012. Throughout her career, she also accepted the George C.
