Backed by nearly 60 years of practiced legal expertise, Mr. Rounick serves as counsel for the Law Offices of Jack A. Rounick, LLC, where he specializes in handling complex family law cases, especially those involving child custody, support and property division. Prior to establishing his current eponymous practice, he worked of counsel for Flamm Walton PC from 2010 until 2012 and Flamm, Boroff & Bacine, PC, between 2006 and 2010. Previously, Mr. Rounick gained valuable expertise as the director of Deb Shops, Inc. from the mid-1970s until 2007.
Over the years, Mr. Rounick has also worked in various legal capacities for Wolf Block, Schorr & Solis-Cohen, Martin Lawrence Limited Editions, Pechner, Dorfman, Wolffe, Rounick & Cabot, and Moss & Rounick. He was additionally active as a special assistant attorney general. In a career filled with highlights, Mr. Rounick is especially proud of being honored as Top Attorney of the Year, and most recently Attorney of the Decade, through the IAOTP.
A diplomate through the American College of Family Trial Lawyers, Mr. Rounick earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Pennsylvania. Subsequently, he was admitted to practice law through the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, he has been affiliated with such organizations as the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, American Friends of Hebrew University and the Montgomery Bar Association. Devoted to his community, Mr. Rounick has found further success with the Pennsylvania Young Republicans as a chairman, a treasurer and a finance chairman.
With a plethora of knowledge at his disposal, Mr. Rounick edited "Pennsylvania Family Lawyer" from 1980 to 1987, and also authored "Pennsylvania Matrimonial Practice." Due to his outstanding work in the field, he was presented with the Boss of the Year Award from the Montgomery County Legal Secretaries Association in 1970, the Special Achievement Award from the Pennsylvania Bar Association in 1979 and a Certificate of Appreciation from the Pennsylvania Bar Institute in 1980. More recently, he was recognized among the Top 100 Attorneys from Worth Magazine, and accepted the Eric Turner Award from the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Professional publications such as Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in the World have also recognized him for his exemplary achievements in law.
