Comprising a talented and passionate group of employees, O&G Industries Inc. is a fourth generation family business, which was originally founded by his grandfather. Mr. Oneglia takes great pride in everyone who has been involved in the success of his company.
Mr. Oneglia received a Bachelor of Science at Union College in 1970. While pursuing his degree, he spent his summers working at O&G Industries Inc., where he learned the value of a diligent work ethic from his father. After graduation, he began working full-time. He also served for six years in the U.S. Army National Guard. Furthermore, as a well-respected figure in his community, Mr. Oneglia was active as a member of the Connecticut Infrastructure Task Force in Hartford, and the Connecticut Employment and Training Commission, also in Hartford.
Inducted into the National Academy of Construction in 2016, Mr. Oneglia has also been aligned with several other industry-related organizations throughout his career. To wit, he has been active as a member and board trustee of the Connecticut Construction Industries Association since 1983, where he formerly chaired the legislative committee for 20 years. He has likewise been a member and board director of the Connecticut Road Builders Association since 1972 and the University of Hartford Construction Institute since 1988. Among other organizations, Mr. Oneglia is a member of the Construction Industry Ethics and Compliance Initiative, The Moles and the Business Executives for National Security.
Mr. Oneglia was honored in 2015 with a Member Award from The Moles. The Moles is notably a fraternal organization devoted to the heavy construction industry. A celebrated Marquis listee, Mr. Oneglia has been included in the 47th and 49th editions of Who's Who in America.
