Her career was born of her love for travel and languages, and after earning both a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French literature and studies towards a Master of Arts in French at the University of Maryland, she soon joined the software editor Adobe in France as a member of the start-up team and later became Sales Director of Southern Europe for Hitachi Europe in Paris, France. While she had not anticipated a career in technology or sales, Ms. Louvel quickly discovered a natural talent for both. She considers her career to be an expression of her energy and enthusiasm for her work and life, and attributes her success to that ethos.
Joining Hitachi in 1994, Ms. Louvel earned distinction as a pioneer for women in technology fields and was named as a Manager of the Year in 2000 at Hitachi. She remained active with the company until 2000, when she was named as the Global OEM Sales Manager for Maxtor Europe, a position she held until 2002. Ms. Louvel continued to develop her reputation as a perceptive and creative sales executive while serving as OEM Sales Manager for Sanmina-SCI Corporation from 2002 until 2006. From 2006 until 2009, Ms. Louvel served as Director of Sales and Marketing for the European, Middle Eastern, and African markets of the MXI Group, a London-based global provider of OEM electronics solutions. Following this appointment, she departed in 2010 to become International Sales Manager-FTP at Ipswitch Software, where she would enjoy a three-year career. Ms. Louvel brought together her expertise in sales and passion for culture in 2012, when she founded Tzarina, a fine jewelry distributor and retailer of Tatiana Faberge S.A. jewelry to the French and international French speaking markets.
Ms. Louvel's sales career is marked by a strategic and forward-thinking approach to management, where she has pushed to integrate cutting-edge innovations in CRM software and sales training. She excelled as the Global Software IT Manager for Fresenius-Kabi from 2013 until 2015, and she is currently responsible for lighting certification sales with Underwriters Laboratory (UL) for multiple countries across Western Europe. Ms. Louvel is currently deeply focused on a personal level on various charitable initiatives and her burgeoning jewelry business.
An admirer of the historical philanthropist Aurora Demidoff-Karamzin and also one of her descendents, Ms. Louvel has recently signed a publishing contract with SPM-Editions-Harmattan in Paris for an upcoming historical non-fiction book called « Aurora - an Aristocratic Life ». Ms. Louvel has collaborated with AGPR, the European St. Vladimir Association, and the Saint Gregory Foundation since 2012. She is a distinguished Dame Commander of the Russian Grand Priory Association, and also an alumna of AXO.
Ms. Louvel is a classically trained oboist, flautist and an active member of the Chorus of L'Orchestre de Paris since 1992 and while living in London she also sang as a member of the London Symphony Chorus from 2006-2009. Studying voice with professors such as Nadine Denize and Sylvia Kevorkian, she takes part frequently in numerous concerts at the Philharmonie de Paris, international music festivals, salons, and both private and chamber music concerts.
