Prior to his current role, Mr. Burroughs gained valuable expertise as a budgets manager for Morris Visitor Publications, for which he served from 2006 until 2007. In this capacity, he analyzed and reconciled accounts as well as transactions for more than 15,000 client advertiser accounts. Backed by his considerable expertise, he also reviewed budgets, handled financial analysis and reported the company's finances for more than 45 regional markets around the country. Previously, Mr. Burroughs was active as an operations director for the U.S. Army between 2001 and 2006 after completing service as a sergeant first class for more than 20 years.
In pursuit of his career, Mr. Burroughs earned an Associate of Arts from the University of Maryland, College Park. He subsequently obtained a Bachelor of Science in computer information systems from Saint Leo University in 2003 and a Master of Business Administration in finance and accounting from American Intercontinental University in 2005. He remains aware of changes in the field through his alignment with the National Contract Management Association and dedicates his spare time to Toastmasters International and Big Brothers, Big Sisters. In light of his outstanding work, he accepted a Meritorious Service Medal from the U.S. Army. Looking toward the future, Mr. Burroughs aims to enter a well-deserved retirement while turning his attention toward his "bucket list."
