Mr. Stifter has garnered a laudable reputation as a retired United States Air Force colonel turned entrepreneur as the chief executive officer and owner of American Made Products LLC. After beginning his studies at Penn State University, he was drafted into the United States Air Force in 1961, serving as a navigator. Dedicated to both his service and his studies, Mr. Stifter completed a Bachelor of Arts in accounting at Penn State University in 1969, and a Master of Business Administration in finance in 1971. In 1988, he attended the National Defense University, graduating with a War Plans Certificate.
In 1994, after more than three decades of honorable service and promotion through ranks to a colonel, Mr. Stifter retired from the United States Air Force. Possessed of a keen mind for business, he established C&C Ames Corporation, an independent real estate investment group focused on home acquisition, repair and listing before the "house flipping" boom of the early 2000s. In recognition of his contributions to the industry, Mr. Stifter was made an Honorary Lifetime Member of George Real Estate Investment in 1998.
Not only a property renovator, Mr. Stifter is heavily involved in teaching others the skills necessary to succeed in real estate and home repairs, and in 2009, he earned his Georgia state real estate license. Since 2011, he has continued his dedication to quality and longevity as the proprietor and chief executive officer of American Made Products LLC. He attributes much of his success to his rural upbringing, where he learned the necessary skills to repair, reuse and creatively extend the life of almost any tool or piece of equipment, as well as his genuine desire to see others succeed in accomplishing their goals. Mr. Stifter has appeared on local and national media outlets, including NBC, ABC and Fox affiliates as an expert resource on real estate investment and military life, and he is a regular presenter for the National Speech Organization and Toastmasters. He remains active in the Georgia Real Estate Investors Association and in advocacy for the United Way of Floyd County, where he has been a longtime supporter, and anticipates promoting independence, local businesses and community support for as long as he is able.
