Entering the field in 1956 as a third-generation California realtor, he worked tirelessly to prove himself, and in 1970 was named as the Realtor of the Year by his organization. Two years later, he became the regional founder of a Region of Century 21 franchise offices in Southern California. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Yeager purchased the North West region in 1976, which included the state of Oregon, Washington and the western portion of Idaho.
Representing the international market, Mr. Yeager worked alongside his business partner and brother as the co-founders of Century 21 Mexico. Boasting 175 offices and nearly 3,500 real estate associates, it has become a tremendous success. He also established Century 21 South America, which consists of 300 offices, as well as Century 21 Brazil, which is set to break ground this year. Additionally, Mr. Yeager is a participant owner of Century 21 Greater Europe with nine other countries and, as a result of his international efforts, formed his own company, International Real Estate Franchise Company LLC.
Among his other accomplishments, Mr. Yeager was responsible for launching the first MLS service in Mexico. He also oversaw the opening of Real Estate Trainers of Mexico and the existing Real Estate School of Mexico and founded Global Real Estate Trainers LLC. Grateful for the opportunity to teach and provide mentorship to the younger generation of realtors and be an instrumental part of their success story, Mr. Yeager believes that everyone has the ability to achieve greatness if they are willing to work hard for it.
Prior to embarking upon his professional journey, Mr. Yeager pursued a formal education at Claremont McKenna College, from which he attained a Bachelor of Art in business. He then joined the U.S. Air Force, becoming a pilot and earning the rank of a first lieutenant during the Korean War. Returning to college after his time in the military, Mr. Yeager completed postgraduate coursework in real estate, finance and law at the Ohio State University. He has held a California real estate salesman license since 1956 and a broker's license since 1958. He also holds a lifetime teaching credential in real estate subjects in the state of California.
In support of his distinguished career, Mr. Yeager has been active with the California Association of Realtors, where he was involved in creating educational programs for the organization. He is also a member of the National Association of Realtors and internationally. Mr. Yeager is also a national speaker who has presented before multitudes of groups in the U.S. and Canada on various real estate topics. Noted as an expert in his field, he wrote the book on "Home Trade-Ins."
