Registered as patent attorney with the United States Patent & Trademark Office and a patent agent through the Canadian Patent Office, Mr. Henry earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Baylor University in 1982. Subsequently, he obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from his alma mater's School of Law in 1985. Mr. Henry remains aware of changes at his alma mater and in the field as a whole through his professional affiliation with the Baylor Alumni Association, the American Bar Association and Federal Circuit Bar Association.
Apart from his primary responsibilities, Mr. Henry has contributed to his community as a faculty advisor for Alpha Tau Omega and Delta Delta Delta. He has also completed service as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary.
