Following this calamity, he aspired to help others in their own time of need. When he turned 18, he began his career in public service as a volunteer firefighter. Mr. Murry went on to earn his emt basic certification and paramedic degree from Coahoma Community College in Clarksdale, Miss. As a paramedic he obtained several additional certifications ranging from public information officer, EMS safety instructor, emergency vehicle operations instructor, pre hospital-trauma life support instructor and advanced medical life support instructor. He credits majority of his success to his very devoted father Randy Walls for always motivating, supporting and teaching him the importance of hard work, respect and patience.
For his contributions and accomplishments in his field, Mr. Murry was presented with the Coahoma County Firefighter of the Year Award in 2017. Most recently, he received the Pafford EMS Mississippi Star of Life Award presented by the American Ambulance Association. Mr. Murry maintains his professional affiliation with the Mississippi Firefighters Association, the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians and the Mississippi Emergency Medical Technicians Assn.
