DUNDALK, MD, July 30, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Anis I. Milad has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
After accruing decades of experience in education, Dr. Milad became designated as a professor emeritus with the State University of New York's Empire State College in 2018. Between 2002 and 2018, he taught accounting, project management and other courses as a visiting professor for DeVry University Online, adjunct faculty member for Empire State College and Trident University International, and an associate faculty member for the University of Phoenix Online. Before pursuing a career in higher education, he gained valuable professional expertise as a self-employed accountant. Up until the mid-2000s, Dr. Milad compiled financial statements, analyzed customer complaints, calculated employer's monthly federal and state taxes, and generated a plethora of tax forms, including W-2, W-3, 1099 and 1096 forms.
Due to his considerable expertise in accounting, Dr. Milad wrote interpretations on accounting theories and methodologies, critical reviews in business management and leadership, and several poems, short stories and thoughts on religion and philosophy. Throughout his career, he has published 27 books (24 in the USA and 3 in the Middle East, which include but are not limited to, "Analyzing the Fair Market Value of Assets and the Stakeholders' Investment Decisions," "At the Intersections of Dundalk Avenue: A Collection of Short Stories and Minute Plays," and "The Triune God: Philosophical Concepts and Facts." Dr. Milad has further authored three collections of poetry, "When the Sun Sets," "Salwa" and "A Portrait from the Past," which were all distributed internationally. He is also a composer whose work has been heard around the world and is published by YouTube/Google.
In the early 1990s, Dr. Milad earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Excelsior College. Four years later, he obtained a Master of Business Administration in managerial leadership from the City University of Seattle before graduating with a Doctor of Business Administration in financial management from Northcentral University in 2008. Over the years, he also garnered a certification in project management. He remains aware of changes in the field through his alignment with the Stanford Alumni Association. Looking toward the future, Dr. Milad intends to dedicate his time to projects on which he is currently working.
