While coming of age, Ms. Nordlie suffered various forms of abuse while traversing the foster care system. After resolving to take her healing into her own hands, she became a stronger, and healthier person. Throughout the course of her career, she vowed to help others find healing in their lives. With a background in Early Childhood Development, Ms. Nordlie has used her 20 years of experience in the education industry, developed a program and has worked with over 400 clients suffering in many areas of abuse. She also brings the expertise and sensitivity in crafting and changing cultures that are engrained in her certifications in CBT and as a Life Coach.
Ms. Nordlie earned distinction at Carnegie Hall as a school programs coordinator for a program known as Link Up. She also worked with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Government and as a substitute teacher. Ms. Nordlie soon developed a deeper love for education and decided to develop a class for a drug and alcohol treatment program.
In 2017, Ms. Nordlie wrote a memoir titled "Power to Heal My Whole Self," which was listed as an Amazon Best Seller. She later developed a workbook, "Provoking Courage, Finding Strength in Vulnerability," as well as an online class. Ms. Nordlie has worked tirelessly to guide those who have struggled toward deeper understanding and healing, and leads individuals through the same systematic approach she used in her life, weaving new attitudes, behaviors, and competencies into her clients' lives.
Ms. Nordlie has attributed her professional success to her ability to connect and identify with all of her clients. Possessed of a deep understanding of their struggles, she is singularly dedicated to helping them emerge as a more whole version of themselves. Ms. Nordlie maintains her professional and community affiliation with the New Hampshire Writers Association, Habitat for Humanity and has been featured in New Hampshire and Massachusetts news media. Ms. Nordlie has also been a guest speaker at several events. Looking toward the future, she plans to create a podcast.
