PARAMUS, NJ, August 07, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ellen Lacher has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
For more than 35 years, Ms. Lacher has provided clients throughout New Jersey with creative and responsive real estate brokerage services. In 1987, she joined the team at Coldwell Banker, and quickly garnered attention for her excellence in sales and customer relationships, earning recognition as the Top Sales Associate in the Northeast Region in 1988. Ms. Lacher realized that she could be more creative and successful on her own and established Lacher Realty Ltd., an independent brokerage.
As a hands-on broker, Ms. Lacher is deeply involved in every step of the home buying process, from appraisals and inspections to contract negotiations and closings. She approaches showing homes and understanding buyers' needs as a creative and visionary process, and prides herself in helping clients discover the true potential in each property. Ms. Lacher considers it an honor to witness clients settle into their new homes, and she is driven by a desire to help each client find their "perfect match" property. Ms. Lacher is affiliated with the National Real Estate Association.
Prior to embarking upon her professional journey, Ms. Lacher pursued her secondary education at Mepham High School in Bellmore, New York. For her excellent grades, she was inducted into the National Honor Society. Following this accomplishment, she enrolled at the Stony Brook University, a part of the State University of New York system, from which she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education in 1968. She was inducted to PHI ALPHA THETA for conspicuous scholarship achievement in the field of history. Ms. Lacher concluded her academic efforts at Lehman College, from which she earned a Master of Arts in secondary education in 1971. She then went on to teach intellectually gifted students at PS 77 in the Bronx from 1969 to 1972.
Ms. Lacher's creativity is not limited only to real estate. From childhood to the present, Ms. Lacher has been pursuing her passion for dance and choreography. This passion coincides nicely with real estate, as she compares showing clients properties and what can be done with them, to choreographing dances. She founded Lacher Dance Creations where she taught students tap, jazz and theater dance. She taught at the JCC on the Palisades, the Washington Township YMHA, the Moriah School in Englewood, NJ and Yavneh Academy in Paramus from 1987-1996. She further excelled as Contributing Editor to Dance Pages Magazine from 1982 until 1985, bringing her enthusiasm and comprehensive knowledge of the art to interviews with New York area choreographers and performers of note. Ms. Lacher's love and talent for dance has led her into the competitive ballroom arena where she has participated in Pro-Am Dancesport Championships from 2010 until the present, during which time she has obtained Gold, Silver and Bronze Championship Rankings for her excellent performance. She is affiliated with the National Dance Association.
In accounting for her standout success, Ms. Lacher credits the love for what she does. She feels her passion, persistence and perseverance to do her best in every way has led to where she is today. She hopes to continue serving the community in Real Estate and the Arts for many years to come with zest and continued creativity.
