Employee Benefits was her family business, as her father had worked in the industry since the 1970s, and had established WSP Corporate Benefits & Insurance Services Inc., which had become a major player in the employee benefits and business consulting arena. After graduating from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater in 2003, Ms. Pieratt-Driver joined Weintraub, Siegal & Coleman as an associate accounts executive the following year, coordinating film premiere's and the red carpet for major film studios and attending New York Fashion Week and supervising photo shoots and gifting campaigns for luxury brand clients including Audemars Piguet Watches, Zang Toi, Stuart Weitzman and Pout Cosmetics.
Discovering an opportunity to help grow the family business, Ms. Pieratt-Driver was appointed as the communications and client relations director and the wellness coordinator for WSP Corporate Benefits & Insurance Services in 2005. She remains in her role with the company, where she manages implementation, claims, and client relations, including Affordable Care Act compliance and human relations benefits administration.
Ms. Pieratt-Driver returned to public relations in 2007 as an associate publicist for LB Lipman Public Relations, a firm specializing in representing media and entertainment-industry clients. Over the next two years, she advanced to become the firm's public relations coordinator, working on television and print media campaigns and interviews for CBS Entertainment and Simon & Schuster Publishing, among others. As a part of her commitment to contributing to her community, Ms. Pieratt-Driver provides pro bono consulting services.
Likewise, Ms. Pieratt-Driver has found much success as the co-owner and creative director of Floret Couture, a floral design and decor studio that she has operated with her mother since 2009. Ms. Pieratt-Driver's exemplary work with which she broadened her expertise in all facets of high-end events planning, including day-of coordination, contract negotiation and subcontracting. Merging her experience in events management with her mother's career in floral design, Floret Couture provides custom styling services for events of all sizes and budgets.
Among other accolades, she has been recognized as a three-time finalist in the San Diego Business Journal's Women Who Mean Business Awards, accepted the 2019 Best of the Best of Carlsbad Awards in the Insurance category and was featured in a 2019 Benefits Newsletter article.
