Having come of age as part of a large family, Mr. Ford and all of his siblings learned how to cook during the earliest stage of their lives. He developed a passion for the culinary arts, and ventured into catering as a stepping stone into the food industry. In this capacity, Mr. Ford is the owner of Bgf Bobby Q and serves as a consultant with BGF Consultants Ltd. Officer Ford began his work career and the foundation of his work experience at the Whitney Museum of American Art, meeting many personalities who would serve as mentors towards his education and experiences in life.
Mr. Ford studied at the State University of New York Empire State College and received certification from the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services as a RADAR/LIDAR operator. He was employed as a New York City Police Detective Investigator for 8 years. Mr. Ford now serves as an officer with the Village of Freeport Police Department.
Civically, Mr. Ford previously served as the executive director of the Police Athletic League. Throughout the course of his career, he has received a commendation medal and 12 meritorious awards for his public service as a police officer. Outside of his primary work, Mr. Ford is a 5th degree black belt holder and records music in his spare time.
He attributes his professional success to motivation, curiosity and determination. Looking toward the future, he plans to soon retire from the police force. Mr. Ford would also like to own a number of restaurant franchises.
