Ms. Lockett notably earned a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana State University, and completed business-focused coursework through Professional Salon Concepts.

She has also traveled to Paris, France to undergo additional international training. She attributes all of her success to her clients, as she loves helping others to build their self-esteem. Ms. Lockett became involved in her profession simply from her passion for helping others, as well as her artistic flair. Growing up, she noticed many clients were being turned away because stylists did not know how to properly suit their needs. She is proud to know how to work on every type of hair, which has additionally helped her grow her business and brand. When she was informed that her friend was diagnosed with cancer and would soon be losing her hair due to chemotherapy, Ms. Lockett made it her mission to specialize in wig making.
A member of the Miss Indiana Organization since 2015, Ms. Lockett notably participates on the board for Indiana Fashion Week and co-founded the Hand On Workshop in 2016. She also enjoys spending her time contributing to the community and volunteering with Help Portrait and the Inter City High School Cosmetology Program. Looking ahead in her career, Ms. Lockett aims to focus on and promote custom hair wigs and wig making workshops while providing opportunities to budding stylists to work with a chair.
