An experienced entrepreneur, he has also maintained his role as a chief warrant officer with the U.S. Army while cementing Cybersymmitronix in the machine learning and business intelligence industries. Over the years, Dr. Cortes has also gained valuable professional expertise as a special operations manager with M2Mi Corporation, specializing in space exploration with the NASA Ames Research Center and as an engineer with UPS.
Dedicated to the pursuit of higher education, Dr. Cortes earned a Bachelor of Science in physics and mathematics from San Jose State University in 2004 and a Master of Arts in strategic intelligence from the American Public University System in 2011. Subsequently, he obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in metaphysics from University of Metaphysics in 2015 and a certification in business analytics from Harvard Business School in 2019. Outside of his primary responsibilities, Dr. Cortes devotes himself to his community as an active member of the local housing and revitalization committee.
Though his career has been filled with standout moments, Dr. Cortes is especially proud of pursuing areas of study and advancement that others will not, including microtechnology. Additionally, he is proud of becoming the first in his family to graduate from college. In light of his outstanding work in the field, he was presented with the Presidential Award.
