Concurrent to this role, he has also served as the manager of network services and a utilities technician for AT&T in Georgia since 1998. A former member of the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Jones assisted the military in accounting and budgeting in North Carolina between 1984 and 1990.
Certified in organizational leadership by the University of Georgia, Mr. Jones has exemplified diversity within his career path and holds several academic degrees. The recipient of an Associate of Science in Biblical studies from Beulah Heights University, he also earned a Bachelor of Science in religious and Biblical studies from Liberty University. After accruing numerous years in his field, Mr. Jones returned to academia and received a Master of Arts in management and leadership from Liberty University in 2016.
Mr. Jones has earned distinction as a pronounced leader in management and technician roles, evident in his ability to coach, lead and develop technicians to achieve higher performance standards and quality objectives. Likewise, he has supervised several subordinates within the areas of installation, rearrangement, removal and repair of damages in both a time-efficient and budgetary manner. Mr. Jones also boasts extensive experience in human resources, with a background in hiring and labor.
Civically involved alongside his professional endeavors, Mr. Jones has been a minister of the Gospel for several years and is active with Meals on Wheels and Serve the Homeless. He has also maintained his affiliation with the honorable society of Phi Beta Sigma and Services for Humanity. In a career suffused with highlights, Mr. Jones is most proud of the perseverance he displayed in pushing himself forward amidst the presence of difficult obstacles.
In light of his exceptional achievements, Mr. Jones received a Community Service Award from AT&T.
