LEWISBURG, PA, August 28, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michelle Dietrich has been inducted into the Marquis Who's Who. After passing a civil service exam, Ms. Dietrich secured a position as a clerk typist for Union County Public Safety. She continued to advance her talents within the County, where she was promoted to become an administrative assistant, deputy director and emergency management coordinator. Ms. Dietrich now works as an Emergency Management Director for Union County. In addition to her role as the Emergency Management Director, she also serves as the Chair of the North Central Terrorism Task Force and is the owner of MAD Taxes. Furthermore, she holds numerous professional certifications to include, but not limited to, Emergency Management Coordinator.
Throughout the course of her career, Ms. Dietrich has followed the established Homeland Security processes to protect local communities, and has gained extensive experience in emergency preparedness, response, mitigation and recovery procedures on a county, regional, and state level. In the little spare time she has, Ms. Dietrich also serves her community as the Vice President of PA Young Farmers Association as well as the secretary of the Mifflinburg Young Farmers Association. For her contributions to the field, Ms. Dietrich has received the Harry Robidoux Memorial Excellence in Emergency Management Award from the Keystone Emergency Management Association.
In accounting for her professional success, Ms. Dietrich credits the influence of her parents, who encouraged her to work hard and conduct herself with integrity. She was also inspired by her grandmother, who was employed as an aide for a State School and Hospital. In addition, she is grateful for her family, colleagues, and friends who have supported her throughout her journey. All of the aforementioned individuals have played vital role in the success of her career as well as her continued quest for excellence. Being a visionary, Ms. Dietrich is always looking toward the future. Her plans include continued service as a leader and mentor in the emergency management industry until such time she is ready to pass the reigns to the next generation of emergency managers.
