Having accrued over 30 years of experience in his chosen field, Mr. Biedenharn has found success working in sales and channel sales with the USA division of IMC Technologies, Inc., since 2015 and as the director of sales and business development for HD-Ware since 2004. He also recently joined the commercial real estate firm, Bailes & Associates Inc. of Los Angeles, California.
Throughout the course of his affiliation with HD-Ware, he has been responsible for representing manufacturers, of national and international, video, IP streaming and content such, as Camerize, DVEO, Sportsquare, Vector 3, PlayBox Technologies, and the aforementioned IMC Technologies. During this time, Mr. Biedenharn has been active as a director of sales in the Americas region for OASYS Automated Playout Limited between 2012 and 2013, a sales manager for Video Technics, Inc. from 2011 to 2012, a North American sales team member for Vector 3 from 2008 until 2010, and the director of sales on behalf of Inlet Technologies in 2008.
Mr. Biedenharn began his career in the field as a western regional sales manager for Truevision from 1993 to 1998 and Matrox from 1998 to 2004. Having been raised during the analog era of music and film, he became fascinated with digital technology very early on in his life. He took his experience as a graphics artist to a commercial level, whereupon he began to sell high end computer graphics and medical imaging systems to local hospitals. Mr. Biedenharn attributes his success to his father, who performed research and networked extensively in the field of physics, inspiring the younger man to apply rigorous academic principles to the world of business.
Before embarking upon his professional journey, Mr. Biedenharn pursued his education at Southern Methodist University, where he graduated in 1980 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in broadcast film audio production. He subsequently completed graduate coursework in computer graphics and advertising design at the Art Center College of Design and the California Institute of Technology in 1984. Mr. Biedenharn obtained a second Bachelor of Fine Arts in the aforementioned subjects later that same year. Currently, he is enrolled in eCornell University, Commercial Real Estate Certificate.
Mr. Biedenharn, is recently remarried to his new wife Savannah, and he has two grown children, Lauren and Johnny, both of Los Angeles. He now resides in Westwood, Los Angeles, after 35 years living in Sunset Beach, California.
Adjacent to his career, Mr. Biedenharn is certified as a multi-engine, instrument rated, private pilot. He has parlayed his flying skills to admirable effect since 1997 in collaboration with the U.S. Civil Air Patrol, providing airborne platforms for two-way communications in the midst of disasters and humanitarian relief efforts. Looking forward into the future, Mr. Biedenharn aspires to pivot towards more philanthropic endeavors, such as animal preservation.
