With more than 50 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Mitchell had formerly found success as the chief executive officer of CYTO Ltd. from 1996 to 2000, the president of Buchanan Construction Products in Hackettstown, NJ from 1987 to 1996, the vice president of sales of Amerace USA from 1984 to 1986 and the president of Amerace Europe from 1982 to 1984 and also served on the board of directors of Simel SA (France). Prior to being promoted to President Mr. Mitchell was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Amerace Europe. He previously excelled at Elastimold as the vice president of sales from 1975 to 1980 and as a sales manager from 1972 to 1975. From 1968 to 1972, Mr. Mitchell embarked upon his professional path as a market manager at Amerace in Canada.
Prior to establishing himself as a leader in his field, Mr. Mitchell sought to expand his knowledge through the pursuit of a formal education. He subsequently obtained a certification in industrial management from the University of Toronto. Beyond his primary responsibilities, Mr. Mitchell served as a member of the board of directors at Windstar Country Club in Naples, FL from 1993 to 1997.
In 1940, Mr. Mitchell was born in Ontario, Canada, but his career in management has allowed him to travel all over the world. In his spare time, he enjoys participating in such activities as golfing, reading and swimming. He is married to his wife Barbara for 59 years, he has two children, Paula Mitchell Rhinehart and Stephen T. Mitchell (and daughter-in-law Jillmarie), and six grandchildren.
