Eventually securing a promotion to senior vice president, Mr. Paul continued to work with the Travelers Insurance Co. in Connecticut, Missouri and Ohio for four decades before retiring.
Mr. Paul previously served in the military for two years as a naval aviation cadet in the U.S. Navy. In addition to his primary career roles, he excelled as the chairperson of the board of directors of the Center for Corporate Health Promotion. Likewise, Mr. Paul also worked with Travelers Plan Administrators Inc., on the board of directors of Resource Information Management Systems Inc., and with Constitution State Service Co.
