Over the following 20 years, she earned a lauded reputation for delegating tasks to her staff and maintaining precise records of proceedings during official sessions held by the U.S. House of Representatives. In honor of her efforts, her documentations are published in an annual compendium by the U.S. Government Publishing Office, which is distributed to universities and libraries across the United States. Ms. Madson has since entered into a well-deserved retirement.
