Growing up, both of Mr. Vale's parents served in the military in World War II. Coupled with his familial background of seven brothers and sisters who exhibited immense pride in their country, Mr. Vale went on to serve in the United States Air Force for several years. After retiring from military service, he was injured in a motorcycle accident and was treated at a local Veterans Affair's hospital.
While in recovery, Mr. Vale contemplated the next steps of his career. During this time, a nurse suggested that he should immerse himself into a career in which he could handle veterans' claims, much like what he was doing for himself. From there, he went on to work as superintendent of the IAVAC in Woodford County, Illinois. Today, Mr. Vale is a Judge Advocate for the United States Air Force's Veterans Assistance Commission.
As a self-driven professional, Mr. Vale has attributed his success throughout his career to his desire to solve problems in an objective manner. He is also grateful for his faith in God, as well as his parents' support and encouragement throughout all of his ventures.
Mr. Vale has been recognized a Distinguished Alumni of his alma mater. Likewise, he also received a Service Award from Peoria Life and the Gold Star from the Mothers of Washington. Civically, Mr. Vale has volunteered his time with local Catholic charities, the Neighborhood House and Meals on Wheels. He maintains professional and civic affiliation with the Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Knights of Columbus.
In the coming years, Mr. Vale plans to continue within his present position, experiencing the growth and success of his own career path. He also enjoys working with other veterans and believes that the country needs more veterans assistance professionals.
