Displaying an entrepreneurial spirit from a young age, Mr. Jones harbored a desire to utilize his work ethic to assist the needs of an older generation of clients. Initially enrolling at the University of Colorado, he earned a dual Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and Russian history in 2003. Following the conclusion of his educational ventures, Mr. Jones began accumulating experiences that would eventually culminate in the establishing Jones Financial Design.
Throughout his tenure, Mr. Jones has obtained several certifications in personal and family financial planning, risk management, estate planning, income taxation, business succession planning, health insurance, long-term care planning and disability income planning from the University of Florida, the American College of Financial Services, the State of Colorado and Harvard Business School. From 2004 to 2010, he garnered expertise as an agent and advisory council member at the New York Life Insurance Company. Subsequently, Mr. Jones received appointments both as a senior legislative aide for the Colorado State House of Representatives and as a commissioner of the Planning & Zoning Commission for the City of Aurora between 2009 and 2014.
Mr. Jones was additionally elected as the president of the South Metro Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. From 2012 to 2015, he continued his career as a board director for the Colorado Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Presently, he excels as the proprietor and chief executive officer of Jones Financial Design. In this capacity, Mr. Jones manages a team of consultants that specialize in developing insurance plans, lifetime retirement incomes and financial strategies for individuals, families and small business owners.
Mr. Jones maintains civic affiliation with the Boy Scouts of America, the National Eagle Scout Association, the American Advertising Federation and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. For his efforts, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors bestowed him the National Quality Award. Mr. Jones attributes his success to his sincerity for helping others, having the support of his family and the tutelage from great mentors and teachers. He hopes to expand the influence of his agency both domestically and internationally in the near future.
