Born and raised in Jericho, New York, following high school Mr. Shapiro attended the University of Florida, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in 2003 and Master's degree in 2005. He then attended Brooklyn Law School, earning his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2009.
Following law school graduation, attorney Shapiro moving to Chicago with his wife and began his legal career. After working in the areas of consumer debt protection and bankruptcy, attorney Shapiro began his career as a litigator in 2012 as an insurance defense attorney at Scarpelli & Brady, LLC. After years of defending insurance companies against personal injury lawsuits, and seeing first-hand the plight of the injured when facing big business, attorney Shapiro shifted his work to represent injured persons in personal injury claims and lawsuits. After several years of work as a personal injury attorney at the Law Office of Daniel E. Goodman, LLC and Law Offices of Francis J. Discipio, Ltd., attorney Shapiro formed the Law Office of Jack M. Shapiro, P.C. in 2019. A Buffalo Grove resident since 2010, attorney Shapiro opened his firm in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, where he proudly serves his local community, specializing in personal injury law.
Throughout his career, attorney Shapiro has attributed his professional success to his strong desire to help those in need and to maximize their recovery under the law.
